Lew earned a Masters Degree, with honors, in Business Administration ( Finance & Accounting ) from Boston University 1975 and successfully completed studies in Federal Tax Law at Boston University Law School. He is registered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Investment Advisor and is licensed as a Life Insurance Advisor in the Commonwealth. One of only a few hundred out of the tens of thousands of agents and brokers in the Commonwealth. Lew has participated in graduate education certificate courses in advance pension planning and advanced estate planning, as well as involvement in continuing professional education seminars and conferences and as a public speaker to professional and trade groups. He is a Branch Manager and a Registered Representative offering securities through Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation, Member SIPC. He is also a member of the National Association Insurance and Financial Advisors. The American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants. In addition to earning the Charted Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (CHfC) designations from the American College, Lew is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table with both Court and Top of the Table qualifications. He is a trustee of the Spinazzola Foundation. Lew served four years as an officer in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He has competed nationally and internationally as a sport parachutist and has made over 2,000 freefall parachute jumps and has 24 hours of freefall. Lew was one of the first group of skydivers to ever officially open an Olympic Games. He has held three sky diving world records - a pursuit that led him to one area of professional interest : providing life insurance for special or impaired risk individuals ( medical & avocational situations ).
